Electronic Charting
Program
Director electronically retains all the records that make up the patient
treatment chart, obviating the need for a paper file in daily use. A Treatment
Notes page contains tabs for the treatment chart, plan and notes, teeth information, and a teeth & face chart, so they are only one mouse click away. Making notes (unlimited capacity) in a patient's treatment chart is easy.
For legal reasons, notes are automatically date stamped after entry
(entries may be edited before they are permanently saved), and become immediately available at any workstation. The patient's past appointments are all displayed, along with all the appointment notes.
Although the charting in Program Director is user definable, we created
many templates, including special charts for users of Invisalign® and the
Damon™
System that doctors are finding highly desirable. To see them, arrange
for a demonstration by calling 877.803.4412 or E-mail us at
info@Advanced-Ortho.net.
Digital Imaging & Radiography
Most orthodontists
have a digital camera and/or imaging system. Digital electronic images are of sufficient quality that
they replace tangible records in daily use. Program Director automatically transfers digital images from the imaging system
(or digital camera) into the patient record, in pre-selected formats.
Up to
sixteen visual records for the patient can be displayed on a single page in 'thumbnail' size. Clicking on
an image enlarges it to full-screen size. A zoom feature allows the image, or any portion of it, to be enlarged to infinity.
Digital x-rays can
also be transferred directly to the patient record and printing
them is unnecessary unless you wish to do so.

3D Digital Models
With
Program Director, 3D digital models such as these from
OrthoCad are stored as just another part of the patient record. This is one more important step toward complete paperless - and plasterless - practice operation!
